PRIMEDIA@HOME supports Cansa Shavathon Day, 15 February 2008

Staff gathered in the boardroom to watch the Cansa Shavathon video and learn more about the background to this annual fundraising drive. PRIMEDIA@HOME visits Akani School near Diepsloot, February 2008

PRIMEDIA@HOME’s inland sales team donated funds, raised through teambuilding efforts, to Akani School in Northern Johannesburg. The team purchased hampers for sixty of the school’s historically disadvantaged children, aged between six and eight. “The team decided to open their hearts and support children in need, rather than spend the money on a year-end lunch at the end of last year. That’s an amazing spirit of giving, we would like to see permeate throughout our country,” explains Melvin Chagonda, PRIMEDIA@HOME’s CEO.
