ACCOUNTS
VEKASH GANAS
Creditors Manager
Vekash relocated to Johannesburg in mid 2007 where he undertook contractual work positions. ‘My integration in to the PRIMEDIA@HOME family was smooth and effortless due to the warm welcoming vibe I received from day one,’ Vekash adds. Coupling his Credit Management diploma along with his work experience gained thus far from reputed companies such as Nashua Mobile and ABSA Bank to name a few. Vekash looks forward to further enhancing and improving the credit departments function within PRIMEDIA@HOME.
BRENDA BREWITT
Creditors Clerk
Brenda joined PRIMEDIA@HOME in 1993 as a creditors clerk. She still holds the same position as she has gathered a lot of expertise throughout the years she has been @HOME. Brenda loves doing her hair, and she makes sure she is in the salon at least twice a week.
Mohammed Jassat
Accountant
Mohammed joined PRIMEDIA@HOME in April 1994 as a Cashbook Clerk. The company was called DRM at the time. In his current role as Accountant at PRIMEDIA@HOME he is responsible for preparing financials and ensuring that all payments are made. He loves his job and all the figures that come with it! Mohammed enjoys travelling and exploring.
Maria Monene
Junior Credit Controller
Maria joined PRIMEDIA@HOME as a cleaning lady in 1999. She later became the tea lady and started to fill in for the receptionist at lunch time. She was thereafter promoted to the Accounts department to work as a junior Credit Controller.
Maria believes in education on all levels and is working towards getting her Diploma in Bookkeeping.
In her spare time Maria enjoys reading and spending time with her three adorable daughters.
Jill Bristow
Credit Controller
Jill has been with PRIMEDIA@HOME for 15 years. She started as a temp in Feb 1993 when the company was still called DRM. She became a permanent member of the team in March that year. One of her fondest memories with the company is of the conference held at Orange River where the staff went river rafting. Jill says, “I have had a wonderful life working here and have seen a lot of people come and go, but I am here to stay. Her favourite pass-times are ceramic painting, sewing and spending time with her 8 grand children, 7 boys and 1 girl.”
